A unicorn, 1,000 readers—and an invitation for you 🦄

Whether we’ve connected through one of my workshops, a speaking event, my blog, or one of my books, you already know I believe leadership and workplace culture matter—and neither has to be complicated.

That’s the idea behind my biweekly newsletter, Culture, Coffee & Common Sense.

Every other week, I share practical leadership insights, workplace research worth reading, real-life stories, and small actions you can use to strengthen communication, culture, and trust.

And I’d love to have you join us around the coffee pot.

More than 1,000 readers have now subscribed, which calls for a celebration—and apparently a unicorn.

When I decided to change jobs and move to Georgia, the housing market was tight. I wanted room to breathe, no HOA, and a commute of no more than 30 minutes. We joked that finding the right house would be like spotting a unicorn grazing in the wild.

But we found it.

Someone gave me a stuffed unicorn to commemorate the occasion. And when my new Culture, Coffee & Common Sense shirts arrived, there was really only one appropriate model.

To celebrate reaching 1,000 subscribers, I’m giving away three of those shirts!

Subscribe to Culture, Coffee & Common Sense by August 31, and you’ll be entered to win.

It’s free, arrives every other week, and is created for leaders and professionals who want practical ways to make work better—for themselves and the people around them.

Because great workplace cultures aren’t mythical. But sometimes creating one can certainly feel that way.

I hope you’ll join us!

P.S. Subscribe by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on August 31 to be entered. Three winners will be selected at random and contacted directly. No purchase necessary. Open to U.S. residents age 18 or older.
